Love of the land inspires the books we publish at Torrey House Press. We look for superb storytelling and keen idea development in fiction and nonfiction about the cultural importance of natural landscape and the politics and practice of sustainable living. Our titles are distributed by Consortium Book Sales and Distribution. As a small independent press, we bring passion and attention to each author, each book. The projects we do, the people we meet, the stories we help tell invigorate me every day.As editorial director, I work directly with writers throughout the editing process, and I coordinate copy editing and final proofreading.
