ABOUT KIRSTEN H.

Ah, the lovely tell me about your experience section. Well…Welcome! Where do I even begin? I’ve been blessed to have experienced several different disciplines and roles that have shaped and molded my burning desire to lead and mentor the next generation. From my dream of sports broadcasting back home in Sunny California to moving to Texas post college (Sic’em Bears) beginning the next phase of life, I dove head first into serving. God placed me right smack dab in the middle of Houston Texas with a mission to transform my heart and mind. Starting as a personal trainer, I spent seven years building trust and rapport with clients, each in very different places and walks, that truly allowed me to grow in my listening skills, hone in on the importance of transparent communication, discipline myself with extreme time-management, constantly pivot with my strategy or plan should obstacles arise, practice accountability and growth that forms because of it, the value of continuing education and being coachable (nope, we don’t know everything), and so much more. As 2020 brought change for many, I took my pivoting skills as a trainer and jumped blindly into trash sales. For a few years I learned how my skills as a trainer transferred incredibly well into my new role, first as a sales rep and then manager. To my surprise, I enjoyed the challenge, the difficulty of selling something not so luxurious and glamorous, figuring out how to best capture our clientele’s needs—their pain points—and sell based on industry “woes”. Quickly becoming a problem solver and solution producer…less of a sales personnel. From trash came medical sales. Yep, talk about a unique “breaking in” story. And here we are, I haven’t looked back. Growing and building business in Houston, Austin and now Dallas, finding what kind of salesperson I strive to be through a lot of trial and error, standing on honest business, passionately aiming to serve others, being bold in faith and sharing truth on this platform, building a team and company that are rooted in ethics and being people of integrity and respect. And so on…I desire to lead the next generation to be people who walk the walk (and I know what it is like to be the person who just talks the talk—it’s the short game, the cheap play). Cheers to serving others!
