ABOUT KIRSTEN GUILLORY

Hello everyone! I am a senior at the University of North Texas majoring in Computer Engineering. My passion for technology began at a young age and was further nurtured through engineering-related courses in high school, ultimately guiding me to pursue this field.Throughout my time at UNT, I have excelled academically while working part-time in the Department of Chemistry as a Peer-Led Team-Learning Leader. I’m currently expanding my technical and collaborative skills through my senior design project, which has allowed me to apply engineering principles to solve real-world problems in a team setting.As an aspiring computer engineering professional, I am actively seeking full-time roles where I can apply my education, technical expertise, leadership experience, and problem-solving abilities to develop innovative solutions and contribute meaningfully to a forward-thinking organization.I’m also highly engaged in campus leadership and professional organizations. I serve as an Ambassador and Head of Internal Relations for the Society of Women Engineers (SWE), and as the Programs Chair and Social Media Chair for the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). In addition, I am a Student Alumni Association Ambassador and a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.These experiences have equipped me with strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills that I’m excited to bring into the workforce.
