ABOUT KIRSTEN BAKER

I am a Digital Operations leader with 12+ years of experience delivering high quality, transformational engagements within the Energy, Utilities and Mining sector. I lead our Western Canadian Digital Operations team that works with asset intensive clients to improve their operations functions, specifically around improved productivity, asset throughput, maintenance improvements and operational excellence. In my role, I am responsible for managing client accounts and relationships. I am skilled at leading teams of varying disciplines, skills and experience, as well as directing client teams. I often work across multiple disciplines internal to PwC, as well as with my clients, breaking down complex problems into manageable components. I\'m passionate about building high performing teams, and specifically helping women at all levels and backgrounds achieve their full potential. Within PwC, I have co-founded and led a number of diversity, equity and inclusion programs, including the Parents @ PwC network, which created a community of support and understanding for parents throughout their parental leave, the Women\'s Inclusion Network, Women in Leadership, and a leadership program focused on our Senior Associate staff level. I invest in our teams through coaching and mentorship and am actively involved in developing our junior staff. I have practical experience working within the pipeline industry and have successfully built strong relationships across my client organizations, ranging from front line through to COO. I am a manufacturing engineer with a Professional Engineering designation in the Province of Alberta. I am a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and have completed the training component of the Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, and I am PROSCI Change Management Certified.
