GENERALIST | LEADER | MANAGER | COLLABORATOR: Since arriving in Canada in 2006, evolved into a project and portfolio manager and team leader with experience in both the private and public sectors: • > 20 years of progressive experience in project planning and implementation, Architectural and Prime Consultant Services, and technical advisory roles for complex new construction, redevelopment, renovation, and master planning projects. • > 5.5 years in Health Authority Planning, Project Management (PMO), and Project Support and Results Offices (PSRO). • Managed portfolios of capital facilities projects: requirements, scope, schedule, budget, procurement, risk, resources, stakeholder engagement, and communication. • Led team of internal/external Project Managers, Professionals, and large multi-disciplinary consultant teams. • Managed direct reports: recruiting, hiring, onboarding, supporting professional development, mentoring, coaching, and performance management. • Served as primary senior-level client contact, facilitated solutions development with Senior Leaders, and ensured consistency with strategic and capital plans. • Managed the development, procurement, and administration of Service Agreements, Design-Build (DB), Construction Management (CM), and Design-Bid-Build (DBB) contracts. • Collaborated with Infrastructure BC, compliance, and legal teams on the development of a Statement of Requirements (SOR), Design-Build Agreement (DBA), Enhanced Inclusion and Development Agreement (EIDA), and Request for Proposals (RFP). • Collaborated with clinical and infrastructure end-users, functional planners, subject matter experts, and Lean Teams to identify optimal flows and adjacency requirements. • Passionate about the impact of the built environment on mental and physical well-being, human interactions, opportunities to build connections, the development of communities, and overall productivity.
