ABOUT KIRKLAND FLOYD
My perspective on life is you better leave things better than they were found. After growing up in Auburn, experiencing Auburn University as a student is greater than could have been dreamed. Immersing myself in everything AU has to offer, including challenging schoolwork, volunteer activities, social clubs, and student government, brings me great joy and empowers me to be optimistic about my future. It has been my privilege to attend and partner with many special groups of people throughout high school and college. Impact 360, Young Life, and Camp Ozark greatly empowered me through immersive and experiential learning experiences. They helped open my head, heart, and hands to the endless ways I can serve others throughout my life. One of my proudest accomplishments so far is helping create the first Revelation Outdoors chapter, at Auburn University. My responsibilities include new member growth, all financial aspects, retreat development, small group workshops, and branding within our grassroots efforts. These opportunities have allowed me to greatly develop and strengthen my skills that will be necessary as I continue to pursue my future aspirations.
