About Kirk Anderson
Kirk Anderson is an experienced executive leader with over 40 years of diverse business experience across the commercial real estate, telecommunications, and media industries. Kirk excels at developing people at all levels of an organization, bringing fresh thinking and uncommon insight to situations, and creating environments that mobilize the intelligence of the organization. He is particularly skilled at aligning diverse groups of people around common goals, and is passionate about creating effective teams, fostering adaptability to dynamic environments, and getting things done well. Kirk is a graduate of the Executive Development Program at the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania (an in-residence certificated leadership development program), and holding a BA in Business Administration with a minor in Real Estate from Washington State University. Historically, Kirk has lead organizations, divisions, departments, and countless project teams in a variety of organizational settings. To date, Kirk\'s commercial real estate experience includes involvement with the development, construction, commissioning, and/or operation of approximately 34 million square feet of commercial real estate. He has also served as a senior operating executive, including President, to firms in commercial real estate, telecommunications services, entertainment programming & production, business consulting, and career and leadership development. In a public service role, Kirk was appointed by the Governor of the State of Washington to serve two successive terms representing the business community on the Puget Sound Council and Action Team, which governed water quality policy for the Puget Sound Basin. Kirk also served on numerous committees and boards for industry and community organizations locally and nationally. Such as Seattle Rotary, Building Owners & Managers Association, Bridges to Understanding, The Compassion Action Network International, and volunteering as an Executive Committee member and Chair of the Business & Policy-Maker Committee for “Seeds of Compassion”, which in April of 2008 hosted one of Seattle\'s largest ever community events bringing the Dalai Lama to Seattle.
