Kirk Gallego loves obstacle courses! His calm intelligence, unwavering determination and ability to juggle the complex has earned him the reputation as a highly respected international tax principal with PwC as well as an accomplished athlete competing in the toughest obstacle course races. As a tax principal in PwC’s international tax office in New York, Kirk thrives on developing close relationships and using his extensive resources to solve intricate international quantitative problems for premier multi-national clients. Whether strategizing complex issues impacting a client’s international tax attributes, Kirk leverages his deep experience, his fun, collaborative style and his ability to present his point of view with ease and clarity. Kirk is dedicated to the mission of enabling others through academic and personal achievement. He leads the recruiting initiatives and on-boarding for new hires in the practice and his “empowering style” makes him a champion for mentoring talent within the firm. Kirk is a frequent speaker at Bloomberg BNA International Tax seminars, is an active member of the Association of Latino Professionals in Finance & Accounting (ALPFA) and PwC’s Latino Inclusion Network. Kirk got his professional footing receiving his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Boston College and has built his depth of expertise through 16 years as principal, director, manager, and Sr. Associate levels with the PwC international tax practice. As a certified Enrolled Agent, Kirk has earned the privilege of representing taxpayers before the Internal Revenue Service. Kirk’s favorite time is spent with his wife Katie and chasing their two little girls, Ava and Audrey, away from trouble and nurturing his extended family relationships. Combining his two passions, his family and obstacle course racing, they love travelling together, seeing the country and getting ready for the next race.

   Kirk Gallego serves as a Principal in PwC\'s NY Metro International Tax Service\'s Quantitative Solutions practice. Mr. Gallego has more than fifteen years of international tax experience advising U.S. and foreign multinational companies on a wide variety of quantitative international tax matters. Mr. Gallego leads large scale projects for Fortune 100 companies including earnings and profits and foreign stock basis studies, Section 861 and 987 analyses, foreign tax credit computations, and international tax reporting engagements. Mr. Gallego also specializes in quantitative international tax services to assist companies with the modeling of cash and effective tax rate impacts of changes to U.S. international tax laws and other contemplated planning transactions.
