ABOUT KIRK WELLUM
I am the principal and professor of systematic and pastoral theology at Toronto Baptist Seminary and Bible College. TBS came into existence in 1927 and continues to train men and women for Christian ministry in Canada and around the world. At the seminary I am responsible to oversee academic affairs and to work with a team of skilled professors and staff members to provide high quality biblical and theological education in one of the most diverse cities on the planet. Most of our courses are now available online and this has enabled us to extend our reach around the world. Theological and pastoral education faces many challenges today but at TBS we are committed to training a new generation of Christian workers to proclaim the biblical gospel and not be distracted by noise on the left or the right!
