Mr. Sykes is a seasoned executive with significant experience, founding, owning and managing companies in the financial services, real estate and architectural sectors.Mr. Sykes is currently a Managing Director of Accordia Partners, a real estate development and finance company, and formerly the head of an urban real estate investment fund that invested capital on behalf of institutional investors, called Urban Strategy America Fund, L.P. Mr. Sykes serves, or served, on the boards of the following financial services companies; Ares Commercial Real Estate (ACRE: NYSE) and sits on the Compensation Committee, as well as Eastern Bank, where he serves on the Risk Management Committee. He is also the former Chairman of The Federal Reserve Bank of Boston BoardMr. Sykes also serves on the following Non-Profit Boards; Initiative for a Competitive Inner City, Real Estate Executive Council (Chairman), The City of Boston’s Civic Design Commission.
