About Kirk Phelps

Highly skilled CNC Programmer/Machinist with background in aerospace, auto industry, robotics, tool/die building/repair, injection mold making/repair, and thermoform mold making/repair. I started as a manual machinist on Manual mills, lathes, surface grinders, etc. I received a two year certificate in Machine Technology from the Upper Valley Joint Vocational School in 2006. In December of 2007 I joined the United States Air Force as a Security Forces Apprentice. From there I did multiple tours over seas, was a certified Patrol Leader, Base Defense Operations Center Controller, and a Lead Criminal Investigator. I attended and graduated Military Police Investigator school, Special Reaction Team school, Airman Leadership School, 7 level Security Forces Craftsman school, and Child Abuse Prevention Investigation Techniques school. I separated honorably in December of 2013 as an E-5 Staff Sergeant. Upon separation, I resumed my career as a machinist, and hit the ground running. I was determined to learn as much as possible, and in the words of Jim Harbaugh, “attack each day with enthusiasm unknown to mankind.” I have done just that, and have a very strong demonstrated history of working in the wholesale industry. Highly skilled in Computer-Aided Design (CAD), Computer Aided Machining (CAM), Communication, SolidWorks 2018, MasterCAM 2018, Maintenance & Repair, and Manufacturing. I am highly skilled in various areas of CNC machining/programming. I also possess excellent leader/follower qualities, and currently supervise/train the apprentices in my respective work center. I thoroughly enjoy learning new things and accomplishing new goals. I look forward to growing my skill set as a leader, and machinist/programmer each day.
