About Kirk Hecht

I am a sophomore in the Haslam College of Business at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville working toward a business degree in Marketing with a concentration in sales. I do all of my work with high energy and being organized is one of my strengths. At my previous job being a salesperson on the floor of Buster’s Liquor store, I always was able to get all my work done through organization and lots of energy and focus. I continue to stay organized and passionate about my work here at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville to stay on the deans list every semester. Another example of how I have displayed my organizational skills has been through being involved in my fraternity as a rush captain. I was able to stay organized to rush hundreds of kids for a fraternity with the largest fall semester pledge class.Some of my business interests include understanding a specific market and how to advertise a product. In the future, I see myself becoming a product developer and help market a brand to bring it to new heights. My passion for fishing has always kept me interested in fishing brands. My experiences being a sales person at Buster’s Liquor store has prepared me to work with customers and study the most popular brands.
