I have dreamed my entire (adult) life of making fusion energy a reality, from scifi dreams in high school, to trying to take fusion classes at the University of Maryland (from professor Sagdeev), and actually taking them and studying fusion at the University of Michigan.all ahead of my time. Now after 20 years working on ICF related physics, I am living the dream, and helping Xcimer make fusion energy a reality, leading the radiation hydrodynamic modeling of how we take the fusion products and turn that into cheap, reliable, and abundant energy for the world.
