ABOUT KIRK FIEDLER
Kirk D. Fiedler is a Tenured Associate Professor at the Darla Moore School of Business and the College of Engineering and Computing at the University of South Carolina. He received a BA from Wittenberg University, an MBA and a MS in Information Systems and Systems Science from the University of Louisville before completing his PhD in Management Information Systems at the University of Pittsburgh. His consulting experience includes several years at Arthur Young & Company, where he earned a CPA certification. He has taught over BS, MBA, MS, and PhD students. His research has been cited over 3,500 times. Dr. Fiedler\'s research interests include blockchain applications, database design, virtual reality, technology innovation, strategy, ethics and risk management. Kirk was one of the charter members of the Association for Information Systems. He has published this research in Information Systems Research, Communications of the ACM, MIS Quarterly, JMIS, Decision Sciences, Transactions in Engineering Management, Journal of the Association of Information Systems, Journal of Information Technology and California Management Review.
