Current CISSP (Certified Information System Security Professional) with over 20 years of results-oriented leadership and project management experience as an Information Technology (IT)/Security manager. Thirty-seven (37) years as an Army officer with a current Department of Defense (DoD) TS/SCI security clearance in an extremely technical field which requires ongoing personal as well as outside organization education. Lead teams within the military and civilian career fields on technically demanding and operationally complex projects requiring frequent coordination and internal selling of often competing mission goals, funding and operational oversight. Incident Commander for Cybersecurity events in Texas Health and Human Services. Ability to take complex technical computer and operational concepts and disseminate them to stakeholders in understandable terms to accomplish several projects. Have generated revenue for clients through increased organizational influence which led to increased buy-in from outside sources to ensure success on projects and organizational goals. Over ten (10) years teaching college courses, over twenty (20) years as a Tactical Operations Officer, thirteen (13) years as an Army Instructor Pilot, and graduate of the Army Basic Instructor Course.    Currently hold DoD TS/SCI Security Clearance (Top Secret / Sensitive Compartmented Information).• Work as part of a team to evaluate enemy capabilities for the purpose of identifying their ability to engage friendly forces with a focus on aviation.• Work with military officers from other U.S. military services and nations to evaluate enemy capabilities and coordinate multinational response if needed.• Work with other nations and U.S. Federal agencies for the purpose of being prepared to rescue isolated personnel behind enemy lines if needed.• Was the U.S. aviation advisor to the Afghanistan military and police in Southern Afghanistan.• Perform the role as liaison between the Battalion S2 (Intelligence), S3 (Operations), S6 (Signal/Communication), and the battalion pilots for the purpose of providing pilots with accurate information needed to perform flight planning and safely accomplish their missions.• Acted as primary pilot/Tactical Operations Officer and primary Instructor pilot for the MNCI commander LTG Odierno. In that capacity was required to establish as procedure that would allow highly classified travel planning information to be transmitted across the country of Iraq while ensuring all information was kept free of external monitoring. Sensitivity of the information was such that any leaking of the information would have endangered the general’s life as well as potentially hundreds of thousands of other lives.• Program, monitor and inspect all Aircraft Survivability Equipment (ASE) assigned to the unit. This includes downloading DoD Secret level encryption and installing it on the unit’s aircraft to protect the aircraft and aircrews from enemy weapon systems.• Monitor and recommend tactics, techniques and procedures of unit aircraft to ensure aircraft and aircrew safety in the event of deployment to a hostile environment.
