Experience I&C engineering team leader and member from HBJV – Joint Venture of Hatch and Bantrel, working on 6.5 B$ Jansen Project for BHP facility to develop an underground Potash mine. Responsible for following various engineering and Contract Management activities:• Preparation and review of all engineering documentation within discipline for Wet & Dry Process Areas and Product Loadout & Wayside Areas including, Specifications, lists, calculations and detail drawings - Instrumentation and Controls Design Criteria, Control Philosophy/Control Narratives & Functional Description, instrument index, I/O lists, instrumentation calculations, data sheets, selection & sizing, P & ID’s, system architecture drawings, instrument location drawings, installation detail drawings, wiring and interconnection diagrams, loop drawings, motor control schematics. • Ensuring compliance with all relevant engineering standards and internal procedures for all engineering activates.• Overseeing of scope of work documentation, engineering and construction work packages and performing quality checks and verification of compliance to all relevant standards and internal procedures; Checking and verifying construction drawings, vendor drawings, material requisitions and approval of bid tabulations and field checkout.• Ensuring accuracy of work by all project team members and the meeting of deadlines.• Mentoring the junior engineers in I&C Group.• Software platform- Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI), Blue Beam.
