ABOUT KIRIT AMICHANDWALA

It is my distinct pleasure to share my credentials: B.Com, ACS and LL.B degrees from India and LL.M. from Fordham University School of Law, New York, USA, with a specialisation in Intellectual Property and Information Technology laws. I was an editor for Fordham Intellectual Property Law Journal in 20••••06 and a research assistant to Prof. Hugh C. Hansen (Intellectual Property laws) and Prof. Constantine Katsoris (Tax and Accounting laws). I also have certifications in eDiscovery advance analytics and AI, and contracting practices and risk management.I have been working in the legal support, forensic investigations and ethics & compliance field for 20 years now. After studying and working in the U.S, I moved back to India in 2009 to join one of the premier legal support providers, Pangea3. After supporting various litigation, investigation and contract compliance support streams for 7 years, I joined EY in 2016 and for nearly 5 years, assisted global clients with various forensic and integrity services, including investigations and eDiscovery reviews, end-to-end contract and regulatory compliance management and framework building, policy/process enhancements, employee/third-party conduct reviews, and trainings on topics such as Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace (PoSH), Anti-bribery and Corruption (ABC) and Code of Business Ethics and Conduct (CoBEC). In 2021, I joined Barclays, a multinational investment bank, and handled varied ethics, compliance and employee conduct investigations, policy and process enhancement reviews and whistleblowing complaints for the APAC region. In August 2022, I joined KPMG Forensic team to support client Ethics & Compliance and General Counsel teams, and law firms, with a broad spectrum of eDiscovery, forensic investigation and LegalTech engagements. Additionally, I also manage KPMG Forensic Investigation South India practice.
