ABOUT KIRILL DYAGILEV
I am a technical leader and a manager with expertise in executing research-heavy AI/computer vision projects ranging from proof of concept to production grade. I typically lead up to 2 teams of 3-7 engineers. My recent accomplishments include: building a self-supervised pre-training platform for object detection neural networks; delivering core functionalities to client-facing object detection and tracking products; and successfully running proof-of-concept projects, one of which resulted in creation of a spin-off company. I led multiple company-wide organizational initiatives, such as overhaul of the engineer interviewing process, mentorship of engineers and teamleads, and intervention management for projects in crisis. I hold a PhD in machine learning with additional research experience with IBM, Microsoft, and Johns Hopkins University.
