ABOUT KIRBY MILNER

As a Social Worker and Public Administrator I have a strong dedication to addressing one of the most urgent issues in Phoenix, Arizona - the housing crisis. I obtained my BSW from Arizona State University and a dual master\'s in Social Work and Public Administration from Binghamton University, State University of New York. With my expertise and passion combined, I am determined to make a significant impact on this critical issue. The housing crisis is a complex problem that affects many lives in Phoenix. I firmly believe that everyone has the right to secure and affordable housing, and I am committed to discovering sustainable and innovative solutions to this problem. Throughout my career, I have successfully managed programs that address homelessness, affordable housing, and housing stability. I have a proven track record of effectively leading teams, securing resources, and implementing strategic initiatives that have resulted in tangible improvements for individuals and families facing housing insecurity. I recognize that addressing the housing crisis requires collaboration among various stakeholders, including government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and the community. My collaborative leadership style fosters partnerships and leverages collective efforts to drive change. My work is driven by a commitment to serving underserved populations, including veterans, families, and individuals experiencing homelessness. I advocate for policies and programs that prioritize their needs and provide them with the support and resources necessary to secure stable housing. I am determined to make a difference in the lives of those affected by the housing crisis in Phoenix.
