As an Investment Banking Analyst in D.A. Davidson’s Consumer Group, I support the execution of mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and strategic advisory engagements for middle-market companies. My responsibilities span the full deal lifecycle and include:• Assisting in the execution of buy-side and sell-side M&A transactions across various consumer verticals• Building detailed financial models and performing valuation analyses using DCF, public comps, and precedent transactions• Developing confidential information memoranda (CIMs), management presentations, and other marketing materials• Supporting the creation of client pitch decks and presentations for new business development• Conducting industry and company-specific research to inform strategic recommendations• Coordinating with senior bankers and clients throughout deal processes, including due diligence and buyer/seller communications• Working across multiple live and prospective engagements simultaneously in a fast-paced, team- driven environment
