About Kiran Kumar Siripurapu

I am a final year B Tech student in Electronics and Communication Engineering with a strong interest in digital VLSI and RTL design. I am currently working as a Digital IC Design Intern at DeepGrid Semi, where I work on RTL development and microarchitecture for RISC V based systems, including AXI4 Lite compliant designs and pipelined processor cores.I have hands on experience writing RTL in SystemVerilog and building FSM based control logic. I verify my designs using self written testbenches, assertions, and waveform level debugging. Through my projects, I have worked with UART and I2C protocols, which helped me understand how data moves through real hardware and how timing and control signals interact.I have taken my designs through both FPGA and ASIC flows, validating functionality on FPGA using Vivado and running complete RTL to GDSII flows on Sky130 using LibreLane. This has given me practical exposure to synthesis, place and route, timing checks, and physical verification such as DRC and LVS.I have also worked on semiconductor device modeling using TCAD, where I studied advanced transistor behavior and related device level effects to circuit performance. I enjoy turning logic into working hardware, debugging waveforms, refining state machines, and understanding pipeline behavior in detail.I am looking to grow further in digital design, RTL development, and functional verification roles, where I can keep learning and contribute to real chip and SoC design work.
