About Kiran Chandran

Experienced Professional Structural Engineer registered in five states and the District of Columbia with a demonstrated history of working for Water and Wastewater Utilities. Mr Chandran has experience in leading several projects of varying size and complexity. His experience includes leading structural teams for the design of water containing structures, deep tunnels, underground shafts, and several non-process structures. Mr. Chandran is actively involved in American Concrete Institute (ACI 350 – Environmental Engineering Concrete Structures) and has done significant experimental research in studying the bond characteristics of seven-wire steel prestressing strand and was instrumental in the background research that led to the standardization of ASTM A1081. He is a Rope Access Level I (SPRAT) Technician with significant experience conducting structural inspections and preparing evaluation/recommendation reports for hydropower radial gates and water and waste water treatment plant structures. Strong engineering professional with a MS focused in Civil Engineering (Structural) from Oklahoma State University.
