I have finished my PhD research work. Currently, I am actively looking for a job opportunity. I have submitted the thesis at the National Institute of Technology Durgapur for the award of the PhD degree (Supervisor: Dr K. Aikat and Dr A. Bhattacharjee). I worked in the lab that has the most profound interest in the development of the solutions to the environment using the ‘3G/4G algae to sustainable bioenergy approach\'. During my graduation thesis project, I developed a genuine interest in the field of microbiology. At that point time, I learned all the basics of microbiology and biotechnology techniques. My research work during the doctoral tenure included isolation, identification, and characterization of novel potential indigenous microalgae with an intent to carry out the development of a biorefinery approach. The selected microalgal isolate was also performing well for the valorization of dairy industrial wastes into biofuels and value-added products. In addition, understand the role of lipid biosynthesis pathway-related gene using molecular biology tools. Further characterization of the lipid extracts with different analytical techniques showed that it was suitable for obtaining biodiesel with desirable fuel properties. I have also worked with several lab members and presented an excellent team spirit, occasionally leading a few projects of the lab. This experience not only helped me to get publications in reputed journals but also good writing, presentation, and communication skills, including grant proposals. Also, I have the ability to work independently and independent scientific research investigations. I also have working experience on interdisciplinary projects, including biochar study of bio-char, bio-ethanol production from algal residue and energy-efficient algal harvesting system. The principal aim for PhD research was in the area of sustainable energy beneficial to society (i.e, Biofuel). It developed my future ambitions to study the development of various biorefineries and bioenergy systems for the nation.
