About Kiran Bagwe
I am a Software Development Engineer with a strong track record of delivering innovative solutions in various domains, including cloud computing, automotive manufacturing, research, and site reliability. Currently, I work at Amazon in Seattle, where I have spearheaded the development of critical AWS services and automation solutions. My contribution so far includes creating EC2 Server Inventory Services to store all information on AWS services and components. This inventory service is used by me to create multiple provisioning workflows that allow the provisioning of server, host, rack, certificate, and various other features. In addition to that, we use the same provisioning to find out which servers are not used internally and externally saving millions of dollars for Amazon. Finally, we are implementing data science models to determine the root cause behind the unsellable EC2 Components. Earlier I worked for Tesla, as a Software Engineer, where I implemented front-end websites and Backend components to track, manage, and maintain various Tesla parts. In addition to that, Implement ML models to analyze data of Tesla motors to provide efficient updates on vehicle performance and more help in deciding the upgrades in Tesla motors. My tenure as a Lead Research Assistant at Niner Research and the Urban Institute showcased my proficiency in developing applications, reducing manual tasks, and optimizing data management processes. I successfully migrated databases to AWS services and integrated messaging queues for efficient data processing. As a Team Leader in Site Reliability and DevOps Engineering at Zycus InfoTech, I led a dynamic team, ensuring agile software development practices and meeting service-level objectives. My expertise in CI/CD pipelines, AI monitoring tools, and self-healing systems contributed to the stability and performance of critical infrastructure components. I am passionate about solving complex problems, driving innovation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve organizational goals.
