USCG 100-Ton Master Captain and American Sailing Instructor passionate about empowering adults—especially women—to pursue their sailing goals at any stage of life. With over a decade of experience, I’ve led offshore training courses, captained international yacht deliveries, and crossed both the Atlantic and Pacific. Whether racing under the Golden Gate or running global retreats, I bring a spirit of adventure and a commitment to building confident, capable sailors wherever the wind blows. My approach to instruction is grounded in real-world experience. I\'ve completed on Atlantic crossing and four Pacific passages, coached various levels of race teams, and taught advanced ASA courses in a variety of international settings. I also bring a commercial mariner’s mindset to the dock—prioritizing safety, navigation, seamanship, and inclusive community building.Accomplishments- American Sailing Master Instructor (20•••00-Ton USCG Master License (earned 2020)- Certified to teach ASA 101–118, including advanced levels like ASA 106, 107, 108- Instructor since 2017, including international experience (California, Baja, Grenada, US and British Virgin Islands)- Completed 1 Atlantic and 4 Pacific crossings- Delivery captain for yachts 50+ ft across the Pacific and up and down the CA coast and Baja- Helped relaunch the Wind & Women program at Modern Sailign School and coached multiple all-female race teams
