ABOUT MICHAEL KIPARSKY
My overarching professional interest lies at the interface between science and policy, primarily in water resources. I bring a broad range of perspectives to my integrative research and practical work. I earned my doctorate at UC Berkeley in the Energy and Resources Group, where my research focused on climate impacts analysis and risk analysis for water resources, as well as on policy and governance of complex water systems. I have won competitive awards for my work from the National Science Foundation, the Udall Foundation, the Association of California Water Agencies, Imagine H20, and other organizations.
