ABOUT SOPHIE KING
I\'m a fourth-year student at George Washington University Elliott School pursuing a BS in International Affairs and Economics with a concentration in Security Policy. Over the summer of 2024, I studied at Middlebury Language Schools to achieve an Intermediate proficiency in Russian after entering as a beginner. During the fall semester of 2023, I studied abroad at Copenhagen Business School, taking classes including Language of Negotiations and Global People Management. I enjoy learning languages and international economics, and I\'d like to incorporate both into my future career. I have intermediate and working proficiencies in Russian and Spanish, respectively. I have leadership, teamwork, and customer service experience from lifeguarding and waitressing. Both experiences have helped me develop a solid ability to work with others and communicate clearly in tense situations. I am also a member of Delta Phi Epsilon Foreign Service Fraternity. Through my engagement with the organization, I have developed even more decisive leadership and communication tactics and deepened my knowledge of International Affairs.
