ABOUT KINGSLEY SHAN

I’m a Tech MBA candidate who enjoys turning complex ideas into practical solutions that help people and teams work better together. My strength lies in connecting perspectives, uncovering inefficiencies, and translating them into real systems that improve engagement and impact. I was a chemical product developer from a successful Canadian cleantech startup. I’ve learned that true progress happens when collaboration, curiosity, and structure come together, and this is a mindset I have for every project I work on. I am very proud of my journey at Vivecrop Protection, which won Deloitte\'s Cleantech Fast 50 in 2023. Outside of my professional experience, I’ve applied this approach to several AI and data-driven projects that blend creativity, automation, and user empathy: StoryFlow – an interactive AI audio storytelling platform that lets listeners influence the storyline through voice control, combining emotional text-to-speech and dynamic branching narratives. https://voice-play-scribe.lovable.app AI Agent Strava/Garmin Analyst – a no-code automation that collects and analyzes my sports data to track performance, visualize trends, and generate personalized tennis and running insights. https://youtu.be/ZnNBncmHNfc Weather & AQI Predictor (n8n Project) – a machine learning workflow using open APIs to combine air quality, weather, and wildfire data for predicting pollution levels across the Greater Toronto Area. https://youtu.be/G_CYj5RtX8oAfter completing my Tech MBA, I want to become a Product Manager in the AI space, helping design products that are innovative, ethical, and intuitive. There’s a lot of noise around AI today, but many of its most meaningful breakthroughs, from accelerating drug discovery to powering clean-tech innovation, are not getting the attention they deserve. After seeing firsthand how advanced AI solutions are built and applied, I want to share that experience with others and help people feel more confident using AI to make a real impact. 🤖Outside of school and work, I like to stay connected to my community. At Net Impact Schulich, I help bring together students and professionals who care about sustainability and making a positive impact. It’s meaningful to see ideas turn into real collaborations. I also coach tennis, it has been a big part of my life. Coaching reminds me how much growth comes from patience, small wins, and enjoying the process of getting better.
