A direct report to the Head of Fleet Delivery. This role is key to a consistent day to day fleet delivery and routine maintenance for both Virgin Trains East Coast and Cross Country Trains. • Direct fleet deployment and maintenance strategies to maximise fleet availability & reliability from both Virgin Trains and 3rd Party suppliers. • Responsible for producing/developing a complete KPI suite for senior management visibility and control of the fleet, including key customer experience areas such as catering defects and air conditioning. • Provide forward planning of fleet maintenance vs availability from all depots, internal and 3rd party. • Lead, direct and control the maintenance control team ensuring 24hrs 7 days a week cover and that competency is maintained.
