Direction and leadership of the Capital Design & Construction of fifty (50) Capital Projects of small and big magnitude for Rail and Bus Infrastructure. Capital Projects Program includes large Transit Infrastructure Projects like Redline Capacity Improvement Projects, Stations, Double Tracking, Bridges, Grade Separation, Maintenance Facilities, Administrative Buildings, Demand Response (O&M) Facilities, Transit Oriented Development Projects, MetroRapid bus lines, Park & Rides and end of line charging at Terminal Stations and depot charging facilities, Transit Transfer Centers, and HUBS. The oversight includes all aspects of project implementation such as environmental due diligence, public engagement, preliminary & final design and construction based on the selected project delivery methods like; d-b-b, d/b, CMAR. Liaison with procurement department for selection of consultants and construction contractors. Preparation of Capital Budgets and Operating Budgets for 5-year CIP and 20-yr CIP. Reporting to the Executive Management and make presentations to the Board. Evaluate options, negotiate Interlocal agreements, make recommendations for decision making processes. Establish goals and policies for design and construction of projects. Act as a resource to the agency.
