About Kinara Orozco
As a recent graduate of Syracuse University with a dual degree in History and Political Science with a concentration in Law and Courts under the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Policy. I also am double minoring in Psychology with an emphasis on social psychology, which would help build a new perspective of how people act and Atrocities Studies and the Practice of Social Justice to help emphasize the need for human rights and the study of what is genocide and why it happens. As someone who aspires to become a criminal justice lawyer, either working in the US or Europe, because of seeing family members being wronged by the criminal justice system in America, I want to focus more on human rights and the protections that come with human rights. With these particular interests, I am working towards getting my Master of Public Administration at the Maxwell School at Syracuse University and a Master of International Affairs at The Hertie School of Governance in part with the Atlantis program. This will help me gain better insight into the international sector with more experience in a different part of the world and further my passion for working with diverse people and perspectives. With these two degrees, I hope to fulfill my interest in human rights by learning more about international governance and how leaders can help people in need.
