Design and quotation of custom magnetics including isolation, current, ferroresonant, and high frequency transformers and inductors with operating frequencies from 45Hz to 500KHz and power capacities to 100KVA. • Technical support to production of transformers to help improve efficiency, manufacturability, reliability and to assist manufacturing personnel to understand critical design concepts • Contact customers directly to provide improvements to the design, reduce cost, and turn around time • UL,CSA and VDE product certification Accomplishments Created customer databases to decrease quote turn around time and increase engineering response time and productivity Established excellent relationships with customers and vendors I deal with regularly. Expanded the company’s manufacturing capabilities by introducing cut core designs as well as designed a fixture for stacking the steel that has helped the quality and efficiency of the parts. Created drawing library of standard lamination and bobbins reduce prototype turn around time Proactively clean electronic and hard copy files save resources and improve productivity. Aided Quality department by creating all the matrix for new products as well as updating older matrix Familiar with other department functions and various modules of the manufacturing software and help as needed.
