The Learning Lab Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting this mission by managing the daily operations of our Learning Lab—a dynamic academic support center where students receive personalized instruction, technical assistance, and life-skills guidance. My role ensures students have access to the resources, environment, and support necessary to thrive academically and personally.Key Responsibilities-Provide one-on-one academic assistance, including tutoring, mentoring, and test preparation-Support faculty in integrating curriculum and educational technology into student learning-Assist students with college and career readiness tasks, including applications, resumes, and scholarship searches-Foster a respectful, inclusive, and productive space conducive to learning and appropriate peer interaction-Supervise student behavior and engagement in the lab during assigned hours-Maintain learning lab equipment, technology, and academic materials-Conduct regular inventory checks and submit requests for supplies as needed-Student Support & Progress Monitoring-Build positive, mentoring relationships with students, offering academic, technical, and emotional support-Monitor and document student progress, behavior, and attendance in the lab-Guide students in accessing school resources and external academic or social services-Coordinate lab usage with faculty for classroom activities, evaluations, and individual student needs-Develop and manage a lab schedule that accommodates group and individual learning sessions-Maintain accurate records of student attendance, lab usage logs, and support services provided-Prepare periodic reports for school leadership on lab operations and student outcomes-Serve as a liaison between the school and families, sharing updates and addressing concerns as needed.
