ABOUT KIM POIRIER
Kim Poirier was introduced to the hospitality industry since the age of two years old. Growing up within a fine dining environment, she was exposed to a range of experience with her parents owning a high-end restaurant. Her passion for food, wine and travel have lead her to pursue many different avenues within various industries. She parlayed some of this understanding into the entertainment industry having some notable experiences such as appearing on the Emmy Award winning series, “Mad Men”, being a series regular in over 100 episodes of the Gemini Award winning show, “Paradise Falls”, as well as a recurring role on Syfy’s, “Eureka”. On the big screen, Kim had a principal role in Zack Snyder’s highly acclaimed, “Dawn of the Dead\", starred in “Decoys 1 and 2”, “American Psycho 2” with Mila Kunis, and, “No Solicitors” with Eric Roberts to name a few. In addition, a short film she helped produce went to the Cannes Film Festival. Kim also hosted close to 500 episodes of “Hypaspace” on the Space Channel covering all matters science fiction and tech, film and television, and conducted numerous interviews with celebrities. This experience of hosting her own network show for four years broadened her perspective in the arena of production. She also hosted for, “Pop Galaxy” where she took these skills and transitioned into writing, directing and producing some of the segments. Her vast experience both behind and in front of the camera have given her a wealth of understanding and knowledge. Kim also co-produced the feature film, “The Jokesters”, and is currently a Partner and spokesperson for Moving Pictures Media Group. Her said production company is developing a slate of films with Platinum Studios. Kim Poirier is currently a Guest Reception Supervisor at the prestigious five star, Montage Beverly Hills.
