The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) is an executive Government agency. FDOT’s mission is to provide a robust and safe transportation system. The FDOT\'s areas of program responsibility include but are not limited to: Planning; Public transportation; Design, Construction & Highway operations; Toll Operations; and Information Systems. As the PMO Manager at the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), I am responsible for the execution and delivery of FDOT’s portfolio of over 250 projects and strategic initiatives, managing a team of senior project managers and managing the entire FDOT’s project & SDLC life cycle. Accountable for coordinating all project related activities with both internal and external stakeholders and the entire project life cycle (end-to-end), from project inception to project implementation and post implementation support. Also, accountable for developing FDOT’s PMO & SDLC Processes, Procedures and Methodologies and Standard Operating Procedures and assuring compliance and project delivery performance.
