ABOUT ANN TRAN

I\'m currently a senior at the DePaul University Driehaus School of Business, where I am pursuing a dual degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems. Before DePaul, I spent two years at Harry S Truman College, City Colleges of Chicago. My interest in Accounting and MIS began during the fall semester of 2021 when I had the opportunity to work as a part-time Receptionist at a spa. During that time, I learned about the importance of bookkeeping and improved my communication and problem-solving skills. Throughout my academic career, I have gained a solid foundation in financial reporting, business laws, data, and management information, as well as a passion for staying up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies. I enjoy outdoor activities and volunteering when I\'m not busy with academic pursuits. I\'m actively involved in Beta Alpha Psi and DePaul Women in Business, where I have developed valuable teamwork, communication, and leadership skills. My goals are to pursue a career in accounting and obtain a CPA license. I am eager to apply my knowledge in a practical setting and am confident that my abilities and drive will make me a valuable asset to any organization.
