After a two-year hiatus from leading court reporting operations, Kim has returned to the industry as Array Canada\'s Director of Court Reporting, spearheading the company\'s newest division. With over four decades of experience and a reputation as an industry innovator, Kim is excited to integrate AI and Automated Speech Recognition (ASR) technologies into the court reporting experience for legal professionals across all practice areas. By combining elite court reporting professionals with cutting-edge technology, Array Canada will enable counsel to enhance their effectiveness in discoveries, cross-examinations, arbitrations, and trials—delivering superior results while maintaining cost efficiency. History: Neesons began in August of 1996 and the business grew over two-plus decades, ultimately being acquired by Veritext Litigation Solutions Canada Inc. in 2019. From realtime court reporting and CART/captioning services, to providing mediation and arbitration space, Neesons was known in the legal community as the go-to firm for high-stakes litigation. From 2019 to early 2022, Kim Neeson became the Regional Vice-President (East) for Veritext and assisted the company to grow nationally across Canada to the West Coast, with 11 offices acquired and integrated. Kim retired in February 2022, but returned to a part-time role as a court reporter in January of 2024. Yes, she loves court reporting!
