About Kimberly Nabieu

A successful program manager with 10 years of experience creating sustainable programs in developing countries. Focus areas include public health, Microfinance, and orphaned and vulnerable children. She has worked with street-connected children in Kenya, started an animal husbandry business with an HIV+ cooperative in Rwanda, and assisted with the reintegration of 60 children from orphanage care to family-based care in Sierra Leone. Proven track record in providing technical assistance through the creation of a statistical database, benchmarks, and logic frameworks for an organization that previously had no way to measure success. Passionate about empowering vulnerable populations through programs that reduce poverty, keep families together, and produce tangible results.    Creates individualized transition plans for Veteran families in three states experiencing homelessness.• Advocates across multiple government agencies to obtain a wide variety of benefits for 10-12 clients monthly. • Successfully transitions 5 Veterans into permanent housing every 90 days with a 95% success rate.• Provides counseling to 8 clients with mental health and/or substance abuse disorders.• Ensures long-term stabilization for all clients through financial planning and income support.• Maintains detailed case files and submits reports for Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) grant.
