   Senior Graphic Designer for the Corporate Communications Department within the North Carolina Biotechnology Center. I design and help maintain the overall brand for the Center through web, print and digital materials for the Center website, Center programs and events. This includes print signage, novelty and show materials. I work daily with clients, writers, communications and marketing personnel on Center\'s brand development for variety of core and regional needs across North Carolina. I provide art direction and design, creative management, client interaction, production management and collaborate on image archive management.Accomplishment | Develop process for outsourcing work to a team of five contract freelance designers and establish protocol for internal clients and designers to collaborate. Partner with colleague to migrate all graphics jobs to project management software within a two-month period. Accomplishment | Rebrand an engaging sq.ft. exhibit promoting North Carolina’s life sciences, in partnership with the marketing manager and vendor, Skyline Exhibits and Events, for use at the BIO 2016 International Convention in San Francisco, CA, June 2016. The convention attracts biotechnology and pharma leaders, globally. Decreasing the exhibit size and using sheer skins for the structure reduced production costs by 50% over previous year.Accomplishment | Was integral member of project management and design team for web restructure and redesign. Served as liaison for contract web development vendor and internal communications team to design and launch new website and brand within a nine month period.
