As an ISTE organization faculty, global education consultant and experienced school district leader, I believe \"Get Involved\" is at the core of how I connect with learners, educators, leaders and my local/global community. We co-create a participatory culture that allows each of us a voice at the table for advising decisions, problem solving and community building is critical. In addition to being an educator, Literacy Specialist, Technology Teacher, I have a long history of coordinating effective purchasing & implementation of hardware & software while creating personalized professional learning and integrating highly effective, high yielding instructional strategies. We model the digital teaching & learning we want to see in every learning environment.I oversaw a team of ten incredible and inspiring Educational Technology Specialists. We co-designed and implemented professional learning opportunities to support high functioning cohorts of colleagues in each school. We focused on transforming digital age teaching and learning.In addition to my passion for educational excellence, I foster my creative endeavors: Author, Photographer, and Artist. In 2024 my published book, The Reluctant Pilgrim hit the Amazon bookshelf. After walking 500 miles from St John Pied de Port, France to Santiago de Compestela, Spain I understood the mettle that defines me. Travels, culture, connection, beauty surround me in the workplace and throughout my life.
