One foot in front of the other. I\'m Kimi, and I am persistent. I break big tasks down into smaller chunks, organize them, then make sure I keep taking the small steps until I finish. I\'m a big believer in that it\'s never too late to make little readjustments to your workflow in order to optimize for your future.Software Engineering is my second career so far, and I\'ve enjoyed being here in tech for a year and a half. Let\'s get technical: I\'ve worked primarily in backend work, building out APIs for a load balancer and writing mTLS HTTPS servers for secure Kubernetes pod-to-pod communication. My coding experience so far is primarily in Golang and Java.From my experience as a teaching assistant and as a campus minister, I have a passion for discovering how we can make teaching and learning environments more equitable and inclusive for the next generation.Jumping to a new career, a new coding language, or even just a new type of task can be intimidating.
