Responsible for providing contracting services for all IT related needs upon the service demands of the business, across the organization including Nuclear, Power Generation, Transmission & Distribution, and Renewables • Manage a diverse team of 3-7 employees with varying degrees of knowledge, skills, abilities in contracting responsible for differing levels of service complexities, with variable scopes of work, across multiple business units • Actively promote strong safety behaviors at upmost priority influencing the team as well as suppliers • Apply the principles and practices of plan, strategize, source, and perform assignments • Revamped software renewal process; created strategy, documented procedures, streamlined processing, reduced contract turnaround time, improved stakeholder relationships, developed cross-functional team, established KPIs and measurement tools. • Leverage Supply Chain’s Talent Management Strategy; strong focus on developing current employees, retaining talent, increased employee morale, and created team atmosphere while continuously mentoring and coaching employees and recruiting new talent • Strong focus on continuous improvement activities; developed instructional guide to assist stakeholders with entering Service Now tickets for IT contracts that is used across the business; converted contractor positions into FTE to create efficiency gains • Develop and maintain relationships and open communications with stakeholders and leadership to ensure SC is addressing contractual needs • Identify and evaluate new and current sources of supply, including small, local, and diverse suppliers, to ensure the most competitive and advantageous offering to Entergy is achieved • Implementation of and Change Management for process improvements and efficiency gains • Pre-award contract development and post-aware contract administration; create and lead the RFx process; develop negotiation strategies, optimal pricing methodology, establish KPIs.
