I am a strategic, forward-thinking energy leader with three decades of experience at NW Natural, the largest natural gas utility in the Pacific Northwest serving two million people. BOARD & INDUSTRY ADVISOR I have worked with a public board for over a decade and as a board member at natural gas utility industry associations for the past 15 years, advocating for safety/reliability in the delivery of clean, dependable, and affordable energy solutions. My focus is on operational performance, infrastructure maintenance and development, energy policy, and advocacy work, and pragmatic decarbonization solutions. I have assisted in association executive succession planning, performance management, strategic planning, and brand positioning initiatives. INDUSTRY THOUGHT LEADER I have championed innovative climate solutions such as natural gas decarbonization, renewable natural gas, hydrogen blending, and carbon capture pilots. I am an expert in gas system decarbonization strategies, gas system advocacy, and associated climate policy. CRISIS MANAGER I bring critical thinking and problem-solving to crisis management. Overseeing our company\'s Incident Command Team, I have a lead role for response to any safety/outage event or cyber issue. In 2020, I led an effort to navigate the largest gas outage in modern history, which occurred when a vehicle hit a regulator station, causing close to 6K customers to lose service during freezing temperatures. I activated a robust community response that helped prevent what could have been a disastrous reputational hit in the eyes of the community.
