I love the challenge of keeping up to date, finding creative tax solutions and thinking outside the box.Being a successful entrepreneur, I have first hand experience of what you are taking on. I translate the Income Tax Act, I make it simple and clear for you to understand. As a result, you\'ll make better decisions and sleep better at night.My love of teaching allows me to share my diverse experience and passion for all things tax, I plan ahead and will create your best personalized tax strategy.As a Chartered Accountant, Registered Trust and Estate Practitioner, and tax specialist, I have been practicing in Calgary for more than 22 years. After wanting to study law for many years, I recently was accepted to study law at the University of Calgary part-time starting in September 2016.Having written numerous articles, papers, blogs and courses on tax and estate planning, I have also lectured and taught extensively.I am a past Co-Chair of CBA / CPA Canada Joint Committee on Taxation for CPA Canada ( ) and currently still a member of that committee. I am also the past Chair of the Board of Governors for the Canadian Tax Foundation and also served as a 1st Vice Chair and Chair of the Executive Committee. In addition, I am the Past Chair for The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (\"STEP\") Canada and Past Treasurer and Deputy Chair of STEP Canada, as well as Past Chair of the Technical committee for STEP Canada. I have a keen interest in charitable giving and I am a past Chair for the Southern Alberta Round Table for the Canadian Association of Gift Planners.The unconditional support of my family has been essential to my pursuit for excellence.My sense of humour is well known and I enjoy live classic rock\'n\'roll concerts.Specialties: Tax
