Kim has been in the building industry for over 27 years, specializing in real estate sales for the past 17 years. Kim has been a part of the Outer Banks Association of REALTORS for the past 17 years, serving on the Board of Directors, Chairing almost every committee, being the Treasurer for several years and completed her term as President of the OBAR in 2011. Kim was also voted REALTOR of THE YEAR by her peers in 2011 after receiving the Presidents Award in 2010. She went on to receive the Above and Beyond Award in 2016 and Chairperson of the Year Award in 2018. Kim is also a graduate of the 2009 Class of the NCAR Leadership Academy. Kim believes in education and knowing her profession and currently holds the designations of ABR, Accredited Buyer Representative; C2EX, Commitment To Excellence; CRS, Certified Residential Specialist; GREEN; GRI, Graduate of Realtor Institute; RSPS, Resort & Second Home Property Specialist; SRES, Seniors Real Estate Specialist; and SFR, Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource. She was recently voted back on the BOD for OBAR.Kim also volunteers for the NC REALTORS on the State level and have been chair of several committees. For three years Kim was honored to have won the coveted JOHNNIE COLVIN CUP. Kim was elected by the members of Region 1 in the State of North Carolina and finished her term in 2021. Once her term ended as RVP she ran for RPAC Trustee for Region One again and won the coveted spot for 2022-23.While volunteering for the profession is a passion so are her buyers and sellers!
