About Kimberly Busi
I am a physician, builder and academic educator who is passionate about advancing the lives and well being of people - in all their wondrous neurodiversity - through creative and bold endeavors. I have twenty five+ years experience, most recently founding, building and leading The Quad Preparatory School from a pilot school of 3 students in 2013 to a thriving learning community of 220 students and counting in two neighboring locations in Lower Manhattan. My aim is to expand access to transformative education and employment worldwide by continuing to create and build innovative and bold programs.

The Quad Preparatory School is a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit independent college-preparatory school for Twice Exceptional (2e) Learners in grades K-12. 2e students are are intensely creative, gifted and curious who also learn differently. Quad Prep is perfect for advanced learners who are not thriving in their traditional school settings who can benefit from daily social cognitive and executive functioning skill development and coaching. Our learning environment is flexible and fully integrates rigorous and project-based academics with best clinical practice for autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, anxiety and mood conditions and other learning disabilities. Our 1:1 teaching in all Core Academic areas allows for a truly individualized education and for differentiation of both gifts and challenges. The Quad actively seeks to promote inclusion both in and outside its learning environments in creative ways and fully immerses parents, caregivers and outside providers in the learning experience for each student.
