ABOUT KIMBRA DAVIS

As the former Director of the Department of the Interior\'s Orphaned Wells Program Office, I led the establishment and management of a new Departmental office responsible for distributing through grants and financial assistance the $4.7 billion in funding afforded under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. These funds are used by States, Tribes and federal partners to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and protect groundwater and public safety through plugging of orphaned oil and gas wells. With over 20 years of experience in government service, I have a proven track record of leading people, managing complex organizations, directing projects, overseeing programs, and managing large ($150 million) budgets while ensuring effective internal controls and accountability.
