I am a software engineer who optimizes accessibility for all users, now and in the future. To stay on top of the latest technology, I am currently training in artificial intelligence (AI). My goal is to make it easier for everyone.MY MISSION To develop seamless web applications that are visually stunning, easily accessible, and intuitive to all users across multiple platforms, languages, devices, and operating systems (with a focus on Windows). MY MAGIC I make websites look and feel good. I specialize in building ASP.NET Core applications using RESTful APIs and C#, with the front end in HTML, JavaScript (Angular), and CSS, the back end in SQL, Entity Framework, and source controlled in Git. I helped facilitate community-of-practice meetings for developers to go over software best practices, challenge the traditional thinking of what has always been done in the past, and look for better versions of existing tools, or more creative and efficient code implementations. BRINGING IT TO LIFE 🦋I “make the magic happen” by always learning, growing, and innovating. At my core, I am about genuine human connection. I am interested in quality code and learning from mistakes. I appreciate working with a diverse group of people, even if (especially if) they would solve it differently than I would. I brag about my colleagues\' work. I lift as I rise. I document my code so that seasoned developers and interns can understand my intentions. I write unit tests (in both C# and Angular) and work with quality assurance engineers to automate Selenium tests. I listen to users’ and managers’ feedback with empathy and understanding. I am always striving to do better. I know one cannot move a mountain with one big chop (although it seems impressive when superheroes do it). So, I build amazing web apps the long way, by collaborating with others each day to develop lasting software solutions that make positive changes in people’s everyday lives. These small improvements add up. Then the overall product is easier to use and more likely to last. In the end, the whole is truly more than the sum of its parts.
