   Perkins & Company, P.C. was founded in Portland in 1986 and has grown to be the largest locally based accounting firm in the Portland metro area. Perkins entrepreneurial mission was to be an alternative to the national firms while focusing on the business needs of the regions closely held companies. Perkins specializes in a number of industries, including manufacturing, wholesale, distribution, real estate, professional and creative services, technology, healthcare, insurance and non-profits. In recent years, the firm has also begun providing consulting services to public companies. Perkins is also an independent member of the BDO Alliance, providing international services through BDO, the fifth largest accounting firm in the world.
