As a Residence Counselor for the Aspirnaut Lu-Springer Summer Research Program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, I mentored 17 high school scholars throughout their immersive research experience. I guided students to and from their assigned research labs, distinguished speaker events, residence halls, and recreational activities, while ensuring their safety and well-being both on campus and during outings in Nashville, TN. I was also responsible for managing and administering daily and OTC medications for students. In addition to logistical and wellness support, I assisted students in developing their graphical abstracts, oral presentations, and research posters to help them effectively communicate their scientific work.

I seek to apply my skills and knowledge in pharmaceutical research, with a particular focus on combating antibiotic resistance. My research at Vanderbilt University Medical Center\'s Bratton Lab and at Berea College under Dr. Capece deepened my understanding of bacterial physiology and reinforced my commitment to addressing infectious diseases.
